Who we are
Signal North is a Canadian-based consulting company. We work with ambitious teams and organizations to help them move with clarity and purpose. This site exists to support that mission — and we take your privacy seriously.
What we collect
We collect two types of data:
A. Information you choose to share
When you submit a form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Any message you include
We use this only to respond to your inquiry. We don’t sell it, rent it, or use it for marketing without your consent.
B. Analytics data
We use Google Analytics 4 to gather anonymized site usage data, including:
- Browser type
- Device and screen size
- Referrer URLs
- Page views and time on site
- Approximate geolocation (city-level only)
We don’t collect your IP address or any personally identifying information through analytics.
Why we collect it
We collect personal info so we can:
- Respond to your messages
- Follow up on legitimate business inquiries
- (Only with your permission) keep you in the loop if relevant
We collect analytics data to:
- Improve our content and user experience
- Improve the site
- Understand traffic patterns
Cookies & Tracking
This site uses first-party cookies set by Google Analytics. We don’t store or access IP addresses ourselves. Google Analytics 4 may process IPs temporarily to generate aggregate location data, but no personally identifiable info is retained or accessible to us.
No ad tracking, no retargeting, no third-party marketing cookies.

Your Rights
If you’re located in Canada, your rights are protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may request access to, or correction of, any personal data we hold about you.
If you live in California, you have rights under CCPA and CalOPPA, including:
- Requesting a copy of your data
- Asking us to delete it
- Knowing what we collect and why

Where Your Data Lives
Form submissions are stored securely in our website platform and email service. Analytics data is processed by Google in the U.S.
We don’t sell your data, and we only use trusted third-party tools to store it securely.
Updates to this policy
We’ll update this if anything changes. The most current version will always live right here.
